The Luberon

Luberon massif, an emblematic place of High Provence

The massif lies in the South of France and is more than 60 km's long, linking from east to west the departments of Vaucluse and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. It is composed of three mountain ranges : the Oriental Luberon, the Grand Luberon and the Petit Luberon.
Classified as a Regional Nature Park since 1977, the Luberon is also officially recognized as a biosphere reserve in 1997 by UNESCO. The massif became the image of the preserved nature and the caretaker of the environment.
